Blacks Leisure Group Chooses Mercado for E-Commerce

British outdoor retailer Blacks Leisure Group joins Sears, Williams-Sonoma, JC Penney, Macy's, Target and OfficeMax by tapping e-commerce services firm Mercado Software to power its search, navigation and merchandising for its two e-commerce sites.

Blacks, London, chose Mercado, Pleasanton, CA, to help its online customers to find, select, and purchase clothing, equipment, and supplies for outdoor activities like camping, hiking, mountaineering, skiing and snowboarding.

The retailer has more than 400 stores nationwide, as well as two online stores, Blacks and Millets.
