Biztravel Debuts Affiliate Program

Biztravel.com has launched an affiliate program that lets Web sites offer the company's travel booking services and receive commissions for completed transactions.

Affiliates will earn $2 for each air ticket purchased and $1 for each hotel room reserved in conjunction with an air ticket. Affiliate accounts are credited upon the bookings.

Affiliates that log more than 10 transactions in a month will be able to join the Gold program, which ups the commission to $2.50 per air ticket and $1.25 per hotel room. Affiliates that log more than 50 sales in a month will be able to join the Platinum program, receiving benefits of $3 per air ticket and $1.50 per hotel room.

Melissa Debach, spokeswoman for Biztravel, Philadelphia, said the company will likely target various e-business audiences with e-mail and direct mail campaigns for the affiliate program.
