Bigfoot Gets $11.5M In Third Round

Internet firm Bigfoot (www.bigfoot.com) is expected to announce today that it has closed its third round of financing with $11.5 million from The Acorn Fund, Bear Stearns Constellation Ventures and Acxiom Corp., Conway, AR. The round also includes private funds managed by Spears Benzak Salomon and Farrell, New York, and Stephens Inc., Little Rock, AR. Among Bigfoot's business groups is E-mail Campaign Management, Acxiom/Direct Media Inc.'s e-mail list management and campaign delivery service. Acxiom's investment represents the conclusion of its purchase of one-third of Bigfoot, which was initiated in July.
