Bell Atlantic Video Selects IRT for Call Center Services

IRT, Fort Lauderdale, FL, said last week it has started to provide outsourced inbound call center services for Bell Atlantic Video, a marketer of the DirecTV satellite service.


IRT's call center is handling calls generated by Bell Atlantic Video's marketing campaigns, which include TV, radio, print and direct mail. IRT is also providing outbound calling to schedule installation appointments, activate systems and offer additional services to Bell Atlantic Video's customers.


Bell Atlantic Video, Reston, VA, is a subsidiary of telecommunications provider Bell Atlantic.


An IRT spokesman also said the company was preparing to open its second call center, but the location has not been disclosed. The company's Fort Lauderdale facility seats about 350 people. The new site will probably be larger, the spokesman said.
