BBDO New York Wins $60M E*Trade Account

Online brokerage and banking firm E*Trade Financial Corp. picked BBDO New York as its advertising agency of record for 2005 after it executed an integrated marketing project last fall.

The account, worth $60 million, represents a return to financial services for BBDO New York, which is part of Omnicom Group Inc.'s BBDO Worldwide network.

Under BBDO New York, advertising will position E*Trade, New York, as a provider of diverse financial solutions. Both the retail and the capital markets are targets. Across multiple media, the E*Trade ads will break this quarter.
