Banta System Stores Data Digitally, Offers Net Access

Publishers, packagers and corporate marketers can organize and store text, illustrations, page layouts and other images as digital files in a secure data warehouse and access them through the Internet with Image-Sitter, a digital asset service from the Banta Digital Group, a division of Banta Corp., Minneapolis, MN.


Files can be organized in 54 customizable database fields and accessed through keyword searches. Digital images can be viewed, retrieved or inserted into both print and electronic media. Banta stores the data in its own systems on any server platform adhering to standard open database connectivity protocols.
