Banta names new chief customer officer

Banta Corp., a printing and supply chain firm, tapped Alison Heiser as its vice president and chief customer officer.

Ms. Heiser will lead development and implementation of the Menasha, WI-based Banta's marketing strategy. She joined Banta from Accenture, where she worked as a consultant in the customer relationship management division.

Prior to Accenture, Ms. Heiser spent nine years with Michelin North America, Inc., where she reached the position of vice president of marketing at the consumer tire division. She has also served in marketing leadership roles with LensCrafters, Kellogg Co. and Procter & Gamble Co.

In the news recently, Banta has fended off several buyout offers from Cenveo, a rival printer.
