Bankers Direct Becomes Consortia

Bankers Direct Marketing Group, Lincoln, NE, a database marketing company serving the financial services industry, changed its name to Consortia this month to reflect its growing consortium of services.

Consortia recently increased its capabilities as an integrated marketing and advertising company by adding in-house research and graphic design to its analytic, processing and production services. It also acquired a Lincoln-area telemarketing company and hired management staff from an Omaha, NE, telemarketing company. Its staff is expected to triple to 150 by the end of the year.

Consortia will use the added resources to target the hi-tech, gaming, retail and insurance industries.
