Bank Picks Metavante's NuEdge

Metavante Corp., Milwaukee, said yesterday that Provident Bank signed a multi-year agreement for its NuEdge Suite marketing automation solution.


Provident Bank, Baltimore, has $6.6 billion in assets and is the second largest independent commercial bank headquartered in Maryland. It is the banking subsidiary of Provident Bankshares Corp.


NuEdge Suite will streamline Provident's marketing strategies by consolidating 20 distinct data resources to provide a single, unified view of all its customers. Metavante is the financial technology subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corp.
