Bank One Licenses Online Banking System From Corillian

Bank One Corp., Chicago, has signed a multiyear agreement to license the Voyager eFinance Suite from Corillian Corp., Beaverton, OR, for online banking at its Web site, www.bankone.com.

The system allows customers who access the site through browsers, personal financial management systems or wireless devices to interact with the bank's own legacy computer systems. The bank said the system would lower Bank One's transaction costs in addition to providing a more open and flexible system.

"Ultimately, we'll be able to present more options and products to our customers, and it will give them more avenues of access," said Bruce Luecke, senior vice president of Bank One's interactive delivery group.
