Bank of America to Offer Online Comparison Shopping

Bank of America yesterday said that it will offer its customers DealTime's comparison shopping engine through the Bank of America Shopping Network.

The service lets Bank of America customers search for merchandise based on features, brand and price. Consumers can also click on virtual sales experts and answer a list of questions regarding the products they are interested in to assist them in choosing merchandise.

Bank of America also markets its Bank of America Visa Card through a "Shopping Offers" link on the Web site. Cardholders are presented with special offers on the site.

The comparison site provides information on 13 categories of merchandise such as appliances, children's items, computers, health and beauty, pet supplies, jewelry and watches, video games and flowers, food and wine.
