Bank of America, Charlotte, NC, this week said it would implement a database solution from Trajecta Inc. that will assist it in developing customized marketing strategies for each customer.


The Optimization Simulation Environment from Trajecta is an integrated decisioning environment that will provide the bank with detailed, account-level action plans.


The OSE process determines which company-controlled credit card variables -- such as annual percentage rate, credit line, product type and fees -- will maximize the bank's financial objectives. This solution considers the effects of such actions on losses, attrition, balances, fee income and response rates over time.


Trajecta is a subsidiary of Pavilion Technologies Inc., Austin, TX.
