Bank of America Plans Personalized Web Services

Bank of America yesterday announced the upcoming launch of a customer relationship management program offering personalized Web customer services for its online financial clients.

The program, dubbed My Bank of America, will let consumers manage all their online bank accounts on a single site customized for their needs. The service is scheduled to debut in early 2002.

My Bank of America will aggregate financial information from multiple institutions, including those outside Bank of America. In addition to banking services, consumers will be able to access information about their mortgage and investment accounts and their promotions-rewards programs such as frequent-flier miles as well as get stock quotes and market data.

The program will encourage consumers to do all their online financial transactions with Bank of America. Bank of America, Charlotte, NC, created the CRM program in partnership with aggregation system provider Yodlee Inc. and CRM services provider BroadVision, both of Redwood City, CA.
