Avenue A/Razorfish Absorbs i-Frontier

Philadelphia interactive agency i-Frontier merged with sister shop Avenue A/Razorfish, a subsidiary of aQuantive Inc.

The merger, which comes two years after the shops began working together, means the end of the i-Frontier name. The agency will operate as part of Seattle-based Avenue A/Razorfish's East region. Also, i-Frontier's search engine optimization practice has been merged with Avenue A/Razorfish Search, the agency's search engine marketing unit.

Brad Aronson, i-Frontier's founder/president, has been named executive vice president of Avenue A/Razorfish's Philadelphia office. He will oversee work for clients like Alaska Airlines, AstraZeneca, ING Direct, Wyeth, Aventis and Cadbury Adams.
