Autobytel.com, Irvine, CA, an automotive online retailer, last week launched an 8-week online advertising campaign in conjunction with Webstakes.com, New York, an Internet sweepstakes company, that it hopes will attract new customers to the Web site at www.autobytel.com.


The "Open Road" grand prize is a Ford Mustang Convertible, similar to the vehicle seen in Autobytel.com's new 15- and 30-second television commercials. Additional prizes will include laptop computers and one year's worth of gasoline.


This promotion also launches in conjunction with Autobytel.com's new advertising campaign, which began last week and will run through the end of August.
