Audio Book Club Gains Members From Web Site

Audio Book Club Inc. (AMEX: KLB), Boca Raton, FL, last week announced that its Web site (www.audiobookclub.com) garnered the company 3,000 members in March, up from 300 in January.


"We believe that the Internet is the place to market audiobooks as well as other related products," said Norton Herrick, chairman and CEO.


As evidence of his company's commitment to Web marketing, Herrick said Audio Book Club has signed agreements with Yahoo, AOL, Excite, Audio Net, Go2Net and Map Quest. Audio Book Club currently says it has more than 300,000 members.
