AT&T, Cablevision Sign Marketing Agreement

AT&T, Basking Ridge, NJ, and Cablevision Systems Corp, inked a marketing agreement yesterday that will offer combined packages of their telephone and cable television services in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.


According to wire reports, the services are expected to include premium cable channels, pay-per-view movies and online services bundled with AT&T communications services.


Marketing to current and potential customers will begin in the Spring.


Cablevision currently has 4 million broadband subscribers in the New York area.
