Ascential Software Corp., Westboro, MA, an enterprise data integration provider, said yesterday that Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta deployed its Ascential Enterprise Integration Suite.

The bank is using the suite to make more informed decisions based on real-time financial data while adhering to regulatory guidelines and mandates.

The $129 billion financial services organization provides low-cost financing, community development grants and other banking services to 1,194 financial institutions in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Washington, DC. It is one of 12 district banks in the Federal Home Loan Bank System, which has contributed more than $2 billion to affordable-housing development in the United States.

The bank is using Ascential's suite to profile, cleanse, transform and move transactional data from disparate banking applications throughout the enterprise to critical reporting systems.
