AstraZeneca Consolidates Online Business

AstraZeneca named aQuantive Inc. shops Avenue A/NYC and i-Frontier as its online media planning and buying agencies for the United States in a move to consolidate that activity for its 30-plus brands.


Both shops already were working with the pharmaceutical giant on select projects. Avenue A in New York handled consumer-focused online advertising since 2001 for brands like Nexium. Philadelphia-based i-Frontier, which aQuantive bought last year, has handled ads aimed at professionals.
