Articles Invited for DM News' E-Mail Guide
Editorial submissions are invited for the next edition of DM News' Essential Guide to E-Mail Marketing, a must-read compilation of articles on e-mail marketing in the current environment.
The magazine supplement will comprise case studies, research and how-to tips on e-mail marketing for customer acquisition, retention and reactivation. It will complement DM News' continued print and online coverage of response-oriented multichannel marketing.
Mickey Alam Khan will edit the edition, which is part of DM News' Essential Guide series including one on lists and database marketing and a recently published issue on search engine marketing (For PDF of the guide click here .)
Industry experts and practitioners, both client and supplier side, will write 400-word, tightly edited pieces on topics like delivery, creative, spam, phishing, campaign management, e-mail's place in the marketing mix, new technology, database issues, regulations/compliance and ISP issues.
Each article will include the author's name, title, company, city, state and e-mail address along with a high-resolution color jpeg headshot and images to illustrate the piece. Please contact Mr. Alam Khan with ideas for articles at firstname.lastname@example.org. The e-mail's subject line should read "E-mail guide." Deadline for submissions is July 31.
The guide, valued for its insights, advice and shelf life, will be polybagged with the Oct. 2 DM News and distributed at the San Francisco DMA06 show, the direct and interactive marketing industry's largest conference.
Also, the guide will be sent to all 50,300 subscribers of DM News and distributed at all major trade shows where the publication exhibits.
