Arnold Gets Satellite Launch Work

Arnold Communications, Boston, has won an assignment for integrated brand marketing from International Launch Services (ILS), San Diego, a joint venture company owned by Lockheed Martin and Russian companies Khrunichev Space Center and Energia.

ILS has launched more than 450 satellites into orbit for purposes as varied as telecommunications, weather and reconnaissance. Although the company's services have been used by the government and commercial sectors, Daniel M. Snyder, chairman and CEO of Arnold's parent company Snyder Communications, Bethesda, MD, noted that the agency will help ILS take better advantage of the commercial sector's growing need for satellite launches.

"We are excited to be working with ILS as it positions itself to take full advantage of the emerging commercial sector where the overwhelming majority of growth will occur in the near term," he said.
