Hearst Magazines has decided to discontinue publishing the print version of its women's weekly Quick & Simple effective with its July 29 issue. A statement released by Hearst Magazines said, "due to market conditions and significantly escalating paper costs, it has become increasingly challenging to produce a low-cost, low-priced weekly."
 

National Geographic continues relationship with Epsilon

Maghound users pay a monthly members' fee, depending on the number of titles they would like to receive. Relish increases touchpoints

Relish, a food magazine distributed as a newspaper insert, has signed a book deal and is increasing its rate base in 2009. Thanks to a rise in the number of its newspaper partners, Relish is moving its rate base from 12 million to 15 million, beginning in January.
