Aquent teams up with Eric Peterson

Marketing staffing firm Aquent and Web analytics author, consultant and speaker Eric Peterson have formed a partnership to help organizations leverage Web analytics as part of their online marketing efforts.

The partnership combines the expertise and thought leadership of Mr. Peterson and his consultancy, Portland, OR-based Web Analytics Demystified, with the enterprise relationships and global presence of Aquent to create an end-to-end service for organizations seeking Web analytics strategy, vendor assessment, software deployment and team staffing.

"Understanding your Web site's performance is essential to online marketing success," Mr. Peterson, founder/CEO of Web Analytics Demystified, said in a statement. "Unfortunately, many organizations struggle with people, process and technology challenges as they attempt to leverage advanced Web analytics. Combining my firm's approach to Web analytics strategy with Aquent's proven ability to provide high-quality staff will allow our clients to effectively address all three of these challenges," he said.

Under the terms of the partnership, clients can engage Mr. Peterson and his firm to develop a Web analytics strategy and then engage Boston-based Aquent to fill critical staffing gaps on both a temporary and permanent basis.

The professionals staffed by Aquent will work under Mr. Peterson's direction to ensure a complete implementation of his firm's strategic roadmap. For clients, this end-to-end offering represents an opportunity to develop a Web analytics strategy, drive rapid tactical implementation and still develop a long-lasting organizational capability.
