Applied Info Group Wins Database Duties for MKTG Files

MKTG Services, New York, has assigned database management to Applied Info Group for its education properties and many response files.

The company is looking to combine postal and e-mail data within its multichannel databases.

Applied Info Group, Kenilworth, NJ, will provide database development, list fulfillment, merge/purge and e-mail delivery for MKTG's K-12 teachers, college teachers, Infobuyers' files and 30 response files.

In essence, Applied Info Group will redevelop MKTG's College Teachers Database, K-12 Teachers Database, Edubuyers database and Infobuyers database of 24 million names with 200 sources of data.

Brokers and mailers of MKTG lists can run real-time live counts and orders on the Applied Info Group online system called WebOTIS. The system lets users develop counts as well as place and fulfill orders.
