Appleseed's Opens Outlet Store in Maine
Longtime New England cataloger Appleseed's opened an outlet store in Kittery, ME, last week. This is the company's second outlet store and its first outside of Beverly, MA, the company's hometown.Both stores will offer catalog overstocks in misses, petites and women's sizes. Besides the Appleseed's brand, the new outlet also will carry Pendleton, Koret, David Brooks and other brands.
"Appleseed's continues to be poised for even more growth in the years ahead, particularly as the population continues to mature," president Brenda Koskinen said. "Our outlet will support this growth and provide a convenient location for our New England customers."
Appleseed's, founded in 1946, is a catalog and Internet retailer of classic apparel for mature women, including sportswear, dress coats, career separates, casual wear, shoes accessories and gift items.
