Some top technology sector marketers are giving the revolving door quite a spin.

Allison Johnson, Apple's VP of worldwide marketing communications and a direct report to CEO Steve Jobs, will leave the company soon, The Wall Street Journal's All Things Digital website reported today. She will cofound a marketing and communications firm with former Facebook PR executive Brandee Barker, the site reported.

News that Microsoft's top marketer will leave the company this summer hit the Web yesterday.
