Taking (Ever)notes

A marketer needs her ideas but if she can't store them, what good are they? Evernote makes it easy to log ideas wherever inspiration strikes, whether that's jotting a note while in transit or taking a snapshot of a painting at a museum.

Notes can be cataloged via tagging, shared with coworkers, and searched for quick access. Because it's all cloud-based, Evernote can be accessed on mobile phones, tablets, and via desktop or laptop—either through a Web portal or a downloadable program.

Cost: Free.
