AOL Launches Affiliate Program to Increase Subscriber Base
America Online, Inc. said yesterday it will launch a Web site affiliate program that it hopes will expand its number of subscribers.Through the program, Web sites that sign up will promote AOL's online service to visitors. AOL will provide incentives for each affiliate referral who remains an AOL member for 90 days. In addition, AOL will provide affiliates with romotional banners, buttons and traffic-monitoring technology to the site.
