AOL Adds Inventory, Retools Secondary Ticket Marketplace

AOL debuted a "secondary" ticket market on its AOLCityGuide.com site. The AOL Ticket Marketplace will combine the ticket inventories of TicketsNow.com, an online destination for secondary tickets and AOL's current ticket partner, StubHub.

The ticket center will offer tickets to more than 40,000 events and 6,000 venues, AOL said.

People will also be able to sign-up for AOL's Ticket Connect Alert to receive up-to-the-minute information about new tours going on sale, presales and special ticket offers.
