Andersen Worldwide, govWorks to Provide Online Tax Payment Services
Andersen Worldwide Inc. and govWorks Inc., a Washington, DC-based business-to-government portal, announced yesterday they will offer e-businesses a transactions program for tax payments, regulatory filings and sales of products and services.Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal made the consulting services of accounting firm Arthur Andersen, a division of the Chicago-based Andersen Worldwide, available to govWorks' government customers.
Arthur Andersen and govWorks will also develop systems that will help small cities benefit from the Internet at a lower cost.
The service will be available at www.govworks.com.
