American Student List Forms E-Mail Marketing Division

American Student List LLC has created an e-mail marketing division for e-mail list services. The company also will provide campaign management services.


ASL, Mineola, NY, is part of the Euro RSCG Marketing Services division of Euro RSCG Worldwide advertising. The company provides direct mail lists of students and the youth market. Its opt-in e-mail database consists of more than 2 million teens, college students and young adults age 16 to 25. ASL said it adds about 100,000 new names per month. All records carry both e-mail addresses and postal addresses, the company said.


ASL sees the new e-mail database as a logical extension of its direct mail business and thinks many of its clients will opt to reach their audience using both direct mail and e-mail. The company's e-mail database offers a variety of target demographic criteria, including age, gender, general interest, ethnicity and year of graduation.


The base price for ASL's e-mail list is $200 per thousand, with a minimum order of 10,000 records.
