ALC to Manage Sweeps File
American List Counsel Inc. has been appointed list manager for the National Magazine Exchange file of 8 million names effective April 22.National Magazine Exchange mails about 100 million sweepstakes offers yearly that generate more than 600,000 responses by telephone per month.
Selections on the file include gender, geography, recency and multibuyer. Enhanced selects such as age, income, mail-order buyer, presence of children, ethnicity, religious affiliation and lifestyle are available.
ALC recommends the file for financial, catalog and publishing direct mail offers as well as all telemarketing offers.
Mati Suarez in Princeton-based ALC's Connecticut office will handle the file.
