ALC of NY, Barnes & Noble.com Partner Co-Op

ALC of New York LLC has been appointed manager of the Barnes & Noble.com Partner Co-Op insert program.

Barnes & Noble.com ships millions of packages annually and the insert program is the first of its kind from a major e-commerce company.

"What this co-op does is transition insert programs away from an inexpensive, mass-mailing vehicle to one that is a more viable, more responsive marketing product," said Andy Ostroy, managing partner at ALC of NY.

Inserts are limited to a maximum of five per package, and will include e-tailers as well as multichannel marketers.

The program requires that all inserts be 6 3/4 inches by 5 inches; include the Barnes & Noble.com logo; and state, "Special offer for B&N.com customers."
