ALC-NY Gets Ross-Simons Files

ALC of New York LLC announced its appointment yesterday as list manager for the Ross-Simons catalog buyers file and package insert program effective Jan. 2.


The Ross-Simons catalog file contains more than 689,000 last-12-month buyers of jewelry, china, crystal, sterling silver, home-decor items, gifts and collectibles. The file is 75 percent female with an average age of 50, an average household income of $85,000 and an average unit of sale of $175.


Selects include geography, gender, recency, dollar and product as well as enhanced demographic selections such as age, presence of children, age of children, ethnicity and religion. The base price is $115/M.


The Ross-Simons package insert program will consist of an estimated 500,000 packages for 2003, and the price is $60/M.


Also effective Jan. 2, ALC of New York will manage the Silhouettes catalog buyers file from Hanover Direct. The Silhouettes large-size women's apparel catalog file has more than 282,000 last-12-month buyers. The file is 95 percent female with an average age of 42, an average household income of $50,000 and an average order of $120.


ALC of New York also manages Hanover files for The Company Store, Gump's by Mail, International Male and the Hanover Direct Master Conglomerate.
