ALC Divisions Take on Dow Jones Brokerage, Management

American List Counsel Inc. said yesterday that it has formed a partnership to provide list brokerage and management to Dow Jones and Co. Inc.


As part of the deal, ALC's data acquisition division now brokers for Dow Jones' The Wall Street Journal title. In addition, ALC's data management division handles The Wall Street Journal and Barron's subscriber files as well as the Dow Jones z-24/Circbase Consumer Masterfile.


The Wall Street Journal has 1.1 million active subscribers; Barron's has 164,000 active subscribers; and Dow Jones z-24/Circbase Consumer Masterfile has 4 million names.


ALC, Princeton, NJ, is also offering tiered pricing on the file with a non-financial business rate of $140 per thousand, a catalog rate of $95/M and a fundraiser rate of $75/M.
