Agilysys Adds E-Mail Archive Module to Document Management Product

Enterprise and hospitality computer services firm Agilysys Inc. added an e-mail archive module to its DataMagine document management solution.

It captures incoming, outgoing and internal company e-mails for storage in a separate location for a specified timeframe. Users can search for these archived e-mails within the system.

The Cleveland-based Agilysys developed the product to manage the increasing amount of e-mails and attachments that businesses receive.

Agilysys claims the DataMagine e-mail helps companies meet regulatory requirements like SEC-17A, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPPA, Graham-Leach-Bliley, PIPEDA and Bill C6/198.
