Agency.com Signs Interactive TV Deals in Europe

Agency.com, New York, yesterday signed partnership agreements to develop interactive television services with German cable operator PrimaCom AG and Irish cable operator Irish Multichannel.


For PrimaCom, Agency.com will develop an 80-channel electronic program guide, which is scheduled to launch in June. The EPG also will serve as a platform for pay-per-view services.


For Irish Multichannel, Agency.com will develop an interactive TV portal, in addition to a 60-channel EPG with pay-per-view services, which are scheduled to be available this summer.


Agency.com said its ITV and broadband global practice area unit will develop the services.
