5. More Fulfillment Options

Another trend that grew in 2017, and that will continue into 2018, is an increase in available fulfillment options. More and more sites are offering speedy shipping options — sometimes even allowing shoppers to get their order the next day or even the day of their purchase.

Creative online order and delivery options are also popping up, such as recurring orders of frequently bought items and the ability to pick up online purchases in-store. More companies are also now offering delivery services that compete with the big players like USPS, UPS and FedEx.
