Security Software Applies to All Desktop Browsers

Software firm Lockstar yesterday announced a security system that Internet companies could apply to their existing applications.

The Lyndhurst, NJ-based company touted its system as useful for Web-based firms that were having security difficulties because of the converging demands of multi-faceted business communications. Passwords and digital certificates can be employed in the program for user authentication.

The system works with all desktop browsers, which saves time and money for the restructuring of back-end systems. Lockstar plans to begin marketing the system to Fortune 100 companies over the next month.
