MSN Becomes Exclusive Sponsor of Cyber Lions 2004

Microsoft Corp.'s MSN unit agreed to become the exclusive sponsor of the 51st International Advertising Festival's Cyber Lions Awards 2004.


The sponsorship is billed as one of the most significant in the festival's history. Around 8,000 ad industry executives from 40 countries are expected to congregate at Cannes, France, to witness the Cannes Lions awards, slated for June 20-24


The Cyber Lions category honors creative excellence and the use of the Internet as part of the media mix. That ceremony takes place June 23.


As part of the deal, the MSN cyber lounge is back for the third straight year. Located in the central hub of the Palais des Festivals, the lounge will let visitors check e-mail and surf the Internet through wireless terminals.
