Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Renews With DMi Partners

Sportswear marketer Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Co. renewed its joint venture with DMi Partners, an interactive marketing agency in Philadelphia. The agency will continue to manage Philadelphia-based Mitchell & Ness' e-commerce site, online marketing and sales and customer service call center.

Under DMi's tutelage, Mitchell & Ness more than doubled its e-commerce business from $900,000 in 2004 to $2.3 million last year. The agency also helped cement partnerships with Amazon, Shopzilla and as well as develop an affiliate marketing program spanning more than 250 sites.

Founded in 1904, Mitchell & Ness holds licenses from the National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League and Major League Baseball to offer 1,600-plus styles of player jerseys, warm-ups and heavyweight jackets.
