MindArrow Expands Globally, Acquires Fusionactive.com
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but a MindArrow spokesman said the acquisition was an essential part of the company's strategic plan to bring interactive, multimedia technologies to markets around the world. The company plans to initially use Fusionactive.com's existing client base and marketing expertise in Eastern Asia as part of its effort to expand the reach and availability of its technology solutions.
"This is a clear opportunity to expand our business model and to incorporate MindArrow's rich media technologies into advertising and marketing campaigns throughout Eastern Asia," said Tom Blakeley, MindArrow's president/CEO.
"Additionally, this acquisition provides our U.S. clients with the ability
to strengthen their marketing efforts in Asia."
Fusionactive.com will operate as an independent subsidiary of MindArrow Systems, with local management responsible for the company's day-to-day operations. Founded in 1976, the Hong Kong company has designed advertising campaigns for clients including Sony Corporation, Suzuki, Samsung Electronics, Hyundai, and the government of Hong Kong.
Fusionactive.com has 25 employees and offices in Hong Kong and China. MindArrow Systems Inc. provides proprietary, interactive sales and marketing automation solutions designed to increase the effectiveness of Internet marketing, advertising, electronic commerce and one-to-one relationship marketing.
