The site, at www.baxter.com, tailors information presentations to different users. The creative graphics feature a globe and photographs of physicians at work and the tag line "Saving Lives Worldwide," in an attempt to show the human side of the multinational company.
Bryan Rasch, manager of emerging media at Hanson/Dodge, Milwaukee, the company that developed the new site, said easy navigation, quick downloads and strategic audience-focused architecture were priorities.
"The Baxter Web site is distinctive because of Baxter's various audiences with diverse informational needs," Rasch said. "We developed a unique interface which keeps the different site visitors in mind and delivers content tailored specifically to them."
