CIBA Vision Eyes Grizzard

Switzerland's CIBA Vision, a $1.1 billion marketer of optical and ophthalmic products and services, yesterday gave Atlanta agency Grizzard responsibility for managing U.S. fulfillment of products ordered by company sales representatives and business customers.


The orders are placed over the Web using Grizzard technology. The agency will use its Direct Marketing Enterprise Solution to fulfill orders from a central warehouse. The proprietary software automatically fills orders, records transactions and creates a database open to analytic study.


Based in Atlanta, CIBA Vision is the eye-care subsidiary of Swiss healthcare giant Novartis. CIBA Vision joins a Grizzard client roster that includes BellSouth, Kroger Supermarkets, NAPA Auto Parts and The Salvation Army.
