Bass Pro Shops Retains SmartDM
The Springfield, MO, company will use SmartDM's DirectTr@k proprietary campaign management technology. Through SmartDM, Bass Pro will segment its customer data and send targeted e-mails to hunters, golfers, fishermen, boaters and campers based on their interests.
The agency also will help identify customer purchase patterns from Bass Pro's online, catalog and retail buyers, using e-mail to support sales. DirectTr@k technology will boost prospecting through individual store e-mails as well.
Bass Pro has 16 stores in 10 states. It sells hunting and fishing equipment, marine accessories, boats, camping gear and apparel.
