AmeriComm Buys Cardinal Marketing
Cardinal, Fort Lauderdale, FL, adds a new dimension to AHI, Atlanta, with a proprietary system that analyzes the use and profitability characteristics of bank and retail cardholder portfolios. Cardinal also provides mail-campaign design services, data management, lettershop and follow-up telemarketing services.
The acquisition of Cardinal, AHI's sixth since 1990 and third in the last 12 months, boosts AHI's combined estimated revenues to more than $225 million. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Previous AHI acquisitions include AmeriComm Direct Marketing Inc., a direct mail products and services provider; and Label America Inc., a producer of custom thermal and laser labels, in 1997.
