Accountant Group Hires Marketing General
NCCPAP, which calls itself the only organization in the United States to represent the interests of regional and local CPA firms, has 1,300 members. Its services include government relations and congressional advocacy for CPA firms, newsletters about developments in the industry and an annual meeting generally held in May on Capitol Hill with IRS officials.
Some telemarketing efforts already have begun, and the first direct mail effort will begin this fall. A multistep marketing plan aimed at strengthening its position with its constituency and the media also is planned.
Marketing General, which specializes in direct marketing programs to meet the needs of nonprofit and for-profit organizations, serves more than 50 national organizations.
