Aegis acquires German search agency Rmsarcar.com

Aegis Group plc has acquired German search engine marketing agency Rmsarcar.com for an undisclosed amount. The marketing communications group made the announcement May 13.

Following staff training and certification, Aegis Group will rebrand Rmsarcar.com as iProspect Germany. With the addition of Rmsarcar.com, the Isobar search marketing network will now consist of 69 offices in 38 countries.

According to the Aegis Group, Rmsarcar.com has gross assets of €5 million. The German agency was established in 2004. Its clients include Scout24, Skyeurope and TUI.com.

“We are now in the process of turning iProspect into a global brand, with a presence across the US, Europe and Asia already established,” said Robert Lerwill, CEO of Aegis, in a statement.

The Aegis Group did not respond to a request for comment by press time.
