Homes in Texas have started receiving a targeted advertising program called ShopWise Valores from Windsor, CT-based ADVO Inc.

The program includes offers from retailers and programming news in Spanish to the Hispanic community in Houston from Hispanic Broadcasting Co. and Telemundo Communications.

ShopWise Valores also will contain information about community events, provided by the mayor of Houston, the Mexican consulate and the Mexican Cultural Institute.

The new program will be delivered by mail about twice per month on Friday and Saturday in addition to ADVO's existing weekly midweek program in this market. It initially will cover about 128,000 households.
