AdventNet Inc., a Pleasanton, CA, provider of software solutions for databases, has launched SQLOne Database Search Engine to let users search for relevant business information simultaneously across multiple databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.

The keyword-driven search engine delivers a Google-like function to searching databases.

To search a database, one previously needed database administrative knowledge to perform SQL queries. With SQLOne, no knowledge of SQL is required.

SQLOne, by letting users search multiple databases simultaneously, presents an integrated view of the results. Businesses can enable search throughout databases such as corporate Web sites, intranets, e-commerce sites, knowledge management, customer service, product directories, business applications like customer relationship management, enterprise content management and HR management systems.

The search software is available for trial or purchase at http://www.sqlone.com.
